Chris is an innovative leader with experience in both HR and the business. His current portfolio includes Chief Learning Officer, where he is responsible for learning at MetLife globally. In addition he also leads HR's Portfolio Management capability, as well as HR Operations, Technology and Business Controls. In addition to his MetLife teams, he is also responsible for the management of HR's leading supplier partnerships. He is also heavily involved in MetLife's skills strategy and recently led the implementation of their talent marketplace. Additionally he plays a leading role in the capability build in the firm around AI transformation. Prior to joining MetLife, Chris set up and built his own financial advisory practice providing corporate and personal financial advice, in addition to setting up a sales capability consultancy. Prior to this he managed sales teams for b2b and b2c in the UK financial services market.Chris is focused, driven and able to pivot between strategic thinking and tactical execution. This skillset has enabled him to successfully lead a number of transformations and initiatives ensuring end-to-end solution delivery. He is an innovative and future focused leader who creates the conditions for others to succeed and grow, whilst genuinely caring for their well-being and work/life balance.He brings a business focused and practical approach, having worked within the business in addition to his time as an HR leader. Over the last thirteen years he has worked across the globe providing advice and services in the Americas, EMEA and ASIA regions.
