In an expanding practice with a predominant focus on residential development and regeneration, I have been fortunate to work on numerous projects of varying size and across all work stages. These have included a detailed feasibility study for a luxury family home and stud farm on the edge of the greenbelt; planning submissions for a 26 storey residential tower on the Isle of Dogs, a mixed use community centre and residential scheme and a detailed mixed use masterplan including a hotel, apartments and terraced houses. From November 2012 I was responsible for progressing a working drawings package for a mixed use development across three tight brownfield sites in Greenwich. As the project progressed I took charge of the day to day running of the job, leading meetings, managing a team within the office, taking calls from site and queries from other members of the design/construction team, checking sub-contractors packages along with doing much of the drawing work. The final phase should be completed in February 2015.

My experience at BSP has been invaluable in terms of my development. Being a small to medium sized practice with a large variety of projects, I have gained experience in a wide range of disciplines at virtually every stage of the design process. From inception to completion I have had the opportunity to enhance my skills considerably and been given increased responsibility throughout. Tasks included assisting at conceptual design stages, compiling full applications for both planning and building regs, 2D and 3D graphical presentations, competition entries, liaising with clients and contractors on a regular basis, site visits/surveys as well as construction details and tender packages.
