I led Imagination’s global software development team of over 300 engineers in 11 countries and managed a budget of over $30M. Addressing automotive, mobile and desktop segments, I led teams implementing graphics drivers and tools, AI software, and RISC-V CPU software. I was also responsible for modelling, test development and both hardware and software QA teams. Thus, my teams delivered a critical part of Imagination’s products and were an essential driver of the business's revenues.As a member of the Senior Leadership Team reporting to three successive CTOs, I contributed to wider business and engineering strategy. This included building out the software components of the company’s five-year strategy and roadmap.

I joined Imagination in 2013 to lead a newly established development tools team in the digital communications business unit, building solutions for digital TV, digital radio, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. From 2017 I also managed their verification modelling team.In that time, I increased productivity with world-class tools and accelerated product delivery with improved simulation. I also led a BU-wide initiative to define and embed externally audited software development processes and generated eight diverse software patents.
