Leadership – As a Sales Manager you will develop and lead a team of 11 Sales Representatives. You will set your team up for success by developing and ensuring training for sales representatives and all third party vendors focusing on the implementation of the account’s strategy, goals and selling objectives.Account Development – This position supports a dynamic customer base. You will align with the customer teams and lead your team to execute annual retail plans that deliver profitable sales, distribution and display goals.Strategic Partnerships and Selling – Driving best in class collaboration between the Retail and Account Teams will be key to our success. In this role, you will be accountable for compression selling to Market Managers, Grocery Operations Managers and Regional Vice Presidents in your geographic area.Analytics – Knowing your business will be imperative in driving sales growth. You will be accountable for analyzing Retail performance metrics to drive agreed upon results. Meeting with the Account Teams you will conduct monthly and quarterly Retail Execution reviews.Talent Recruitment – We believe careers need room to grow. Collaborate and align with distributor senior management and Zone Director. Customize sales presentation to achieve the district goals while driving effective, permanent displays with high value discussions. Develop accurate and timely sales forecasts. Train and develop staff. Manage customer invoicing, billbacks, pricing and new item submissions. Recommend key account prices in line with C&M pricing guidelines and stay on top of future retail price plans.
