In 2013 I was hand-picked by the owner of the company to relocate and join one colleague to help open and run our new branch office in San Diego. Initial duties and responsibilities included prospecting and acquiring a new customer base within the homeowner’s association market segment. Process all RFP’s and work with my colleague to ensure bids and proposals were completed and submitted on time. Process all signed contracts, schedule work with pre-selected subcontractors, meet crews crew’s onsite the morning of a specific project to review the project plan, communicate any special directions or challenges and ensure the work area has been cleared of any objects or obstructions. Generate and mail out all invoices and follow up on collections for payments that were past due. Current everyday duties and responsibilities include handling all administrative and operation tasks. Continue to scope and sell various types of asphalt maintenance projects within the HOA market segment. Process all signed contracts, establish myself as the primary point of contact for all project related items, work directly with customers to schedule projects accordingly. Work directly with all subcontractors to make sure each project is completed on time, within specification and meets our strict quality standards. Monitor, track and forecast critical financial statistics such as individual project margin as well as monthly/ quarterly revenue and margin and report back to the owner accordingly. Other duties and responsibilities include representing the company at various membership trade shows for organization such as Community Associations Institute (CAI San Diego) and California Association of Community Managers (CACM).

Hired as a load crew service clerk and quickly promoted to load crew supervisor after one year of starting. This position required the direct supervision of three employees, organized and prioritized tasks for the night, lead and motivated employees to complete assigned duties in a timely fashion. Promoted again in 2006 to supervisor. Primary duties still involved the direct supervision of three to four employees, and organize and prioritize tasks for the night. Additional duties include cash handling, logging and handling large cash drops, managing all money in registers as well as in the main store safe, processing item returns/exchanges, finalizing and reporting all sales for the day, and provide exceptional customer service.
