My roles and responsibilities included:• Prepared and maintained accurate financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements• Prepared and formatted financial reports, audit opinions, and Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFR), while ensuring compliance requirements were met• Analyzed data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in controls, fraud, or lack of compliance with laws, government regulations, and management policies or procedures• Coordinated directly with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure accuracy of financial data• Maintained accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
