These include social housing projects, flood reinstatement projects following the devastating floods in Cumbria in December 2015 and sensitive conservation projects. I have worked closely with national Housing Developers on new developments; several of which have been taken forward after securing planning permission. Recently I have been working with a variety of private clients constructing new homes and extensions. I am currently working to secure accreditation as a Conservation Architect with the RIBA Conservation Register. Show less

A volunteer role in the new not-for-profit organisation that will manage the Penrith Industrial Business Improvement District (BID) between 2018 and 2023.

The Business Improvement District (BID) is an initiative that has been carefully prepared by myself and representatives of a number of the businesses that operate on Penrith’s industrial estates. Our initiative seeks to unite over 150 businesses across. Penrith’s diverse estates giving them a strong and singular voice to bring about positive change to our working environment. The BID was approved on 26th April 2018 by postal ballot.

Following a substantial period of unemployment due to redundancy I took on a full time role in B&Q in order to continue earning whilst seeking employment as an Architect.
