With a background in Computing and following 10 years of teaching within the secondary and primary sector, I am now Chief Executive Officer of the Learning for Life Trust and Headteacher at Fairfield Primary School in Cockermouth. As one of the largest primary schools in Cumbria we are also one of the strongest in the UK with outstanding academic outcomes and local and national awards recognising the strengths within our organisation. I lead a team of passionate and skilled people and it is my role to strategically manage the organisation and the team. We focus on our core values and work tirelessly on self-improvement in order to achieve the very best for the children in our care.
