I have been a graphic artist for many years and have great conceptualization, design, typography, art direction and illustration skills. I bring a wealth of design experience, an eagerness to do fantastic work, and a strong desire to learn. I function well under tight deadlines in team environments, and also thrive when working alone. I am very organized and have great planning skills. I have worked with print vendors and know what to look for on press checks. I have clear and concise written/verbal skills and exceptional customer service.I'm also a fine artist and have my own business creating and selling artwork. I like to paint with oils on canvas or board. I paint anything that peaks my interest, including nature, figures, animals or mechanical objects. I do find myself attracted to subject matter that involves the interaction of nature and man-made objects and how the elements of weather and time can change something. It's also fascinating to me how quickly this change can take affect, once something is discarded or abandoned. Heraclitus, a Greek philosopher, was quoted as saying change is the only constant in life. I like to capture these moments in time as nature transforms our constructs into completely different forms.
