• Obtained extensive knowledge of the infrastructure of automotive manufacturing equipment (Mechanical/ Electrical & Programmable Logic Controllers).• Utilized interpersonal and communication skills to work with other departments such as Process Engineering, Quality, & Production.• Project Management of a new model from start to finish (Spec Design, Design of Equipment, Manufacturing of Equipment, and Installation/Integration of Equipment, Maintainability of Equipment, Quality of Parts, & Start of Production) including management of different project crews.• Lead Engineer over all Closures (Doors, Hoods, & Hatches) for New & Current Model Vehicles.• Installation of new equipment such as complete cells, fixtures, robots, safety equipment, PLC equipment, & standalone electrical equipment with maintainability of equipment with continuous reliability trials. • PLC integration design and data collection & HMI screen development (Cimplicity).• Design of equipment and implementation into manufacturing.• Create and update AutoCAD 2D/3D drawings (Mechanical and Electrical).
