I work with Engineers to support new product development and product line launches. Provide machining support and refinement feedback to streamline manufacturing and profitability.

Use CAM (Mastercam) software to program and manufacture rubber injection mold components using vertical machining centers. Worked to oversee launches of specific tool families to meet market launch dates and customer demands.

ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR, NCCC 2018-2019Taught a 300-hour pilot machine tool program to aid in unemployed/underemployed adults in achieving a new career path. I taught after work hours throughout the week 15-18 hours.Students in this cohort successfully completed the technical program, earned NIMS certificates, and were also coached on employability skills. All were successful in securing positions that offered a sustaining wage.

Worked in a job shop environment using machine tools to manufacture various components for customer needs. Used my experiences in a production environment to facilitate the implementation of fixturing and machining methods to not only make quality parts, but to reduce cycle times and set-ups resulting in specific job successes and reduce waste.

Worked closely with senior machinists (manual and CNC) To quickly climb from apprentice to CNC Lead on second shift overseeing machine operators and assisting in set-up and training.
