Following the continued success of Renew as part of Cavalier group of companies, Chris has been appointed as Director of Services on the main Cavalier Board. This reflects the broadening of the Renew division range of services following on from continued success in Insurance claims handling.Renew now undertake inspections and restoration for a wide range of commercial clients, including hotel chains, warranty providers and manufacturers. The rapid response times, high rates of restoration and accurate, impartial validation for replacement -developed initially for the insurance claims market -has worked to great effect in these new areas of our business development.

Since its inception in 2008 as a service arm of Cavalier, the Renew scheme has been providing a one stop shop for claim handlers & Policyholders in the General Insurance sector. Our network of directly employed technicians also service major clients maintenance requirements as an extension to our floorcovering manufacturing division. Cavalier are the leading supplier of contract flooring to the leisure market in the UK. Renew offers a uniform level of service and process that predominantly aims to restore but also provides on-site independent validation using bespoke estimating and planning software generating room plans and digital images reducing fraud. Where replacement is deemed necessary we also offer home selection from over 100 ranges of varied flooring types giving thousands of options. Our Inspectors firstly assess the damage to the flooring or furniture, and can resolve problems ranging from stains as diverse as ink, tar, make-up, burns, minor water damage and a wide range of other problems.We provide independent inspections for a broad range of flooring manufacturers and serve a wide range of commercial clients in public and private sector for reactive and ongoing maintenance to flooring and furnishings.

Helped to set up a directly employed national network servicing Insurance and Warranty claims throughout the UK. Predominantly centred around specialist cleaning, scoping for replacement floorcoverings and furnishings.

My business was acquired by Homeserve to enable me to replicate the success achieved as a subcontractor. Helped establish a directly employed national network of specialist technicians servicing warranty and Insurance claims. Our best in class restoration rates led to the transfer of the Network to Homeserve Chemdry and the establishment of Homeserve Inspection Services.

Ran my own specialist cleaning and soft furnishings business based in Manchester employing approx 15 staff.During this time we were very successful in servicing Insurance and Warranty claims to the extent that the Company was acquired in 2003 to allow me to replicate that model on a National basis.
