As part of my 3rd rotation in Allstate's Leadership Development Program, I joined Allstate's internal consulting practice AMCS.Allstate Management Consulting Services (AMCS) works with key business leaders to identify and achieve strategic goals that redefine the way Allstate does business. • Responsible for leveraging management consulting methodologies to solve complex issues facing Allstate and the insurance industry• Engagements include strategic business plan development, operating model design, process improvement, and integrated digital enterprise strategy

As part of my 2nd rotation in Allstate's Leadership Development Program, I got the opportunity to impact small business owners across Pennsylvania and throughout New England, providing marketing advice and overall business counseling. Beyond my work with local businesses, I successfully executed corporate marketing initiatives and helped drive regional programs.

For my 1st rotation in Allstate's Leadership Development Program, I worked in the customer contact center space on a small business venture called Extra Hands. My responsibilities consisted of analyzing and reporting on the operations side of the business, while providing any additional support to help the business run successfully.

My short time at Horizon Pharma was a unique experience compared to the typical corporate internship. Working under one of the founders of the company, I got an inside look into all parts of the business and contributed on a diverse mixture of projects. In my 3 months, I wore a variety of hats. Having studied supply chain management, I leveraged an opportunity to shadow the supply chain business unit. Putting on my HR hat, I arranged the corporate summer event, and set up the company for future philanthropic opportunities. At the time Horizon Pharma was going through a M&A, which provided me with great opportunity to sit in on strategic meetings, and learn about how that M&A process works. Overall my summer at Horizon Pharma was a great learning experience and gave me a taste of the life beyond undergrad.
