• Day to day activities involve: visiting 16 properties per day, installing and servicing customers TV, Broadband and telephone services, providing me with extent knowledge on the telephony and CATV networks, including RF theory. • For the first time in UK history, Leicester is lucky enough to trial the new fibre to the home (FTTH) technology, and I have been one of the select few to go through the basic fibre training. My role as an LVF representative is to engage with senior management on local and function specific issues. Being a rep is a high-profile balancing act, representing my colleagues on any issues they may have in the field but also having to see how decisions affect the company and other people in the business.
