Major elements of the engagement include: ° Overhaul of the monthly inventory forecasting, planning, ordering, distribution, and consumption tracking processes for $13M in total inventory while increasing inventory turnover from 1 to 4 turns a year. ° Recruited, hired and trained a new supply chain management team that included senior supply chain management, inventory buyer/planner, and distribution center management. ° Worked on-site with new distribution center management to reorganize the inventory layout, establish daily shipping/receiving transactions, and set up monthly cycle counting processes. ° Achieved 15% cost reduction and reduced average lead time by two weeks by setting up a Request for Quote (RFQ) on the top 80% of annual spend and renegotiating the Master Supplier Agreements (MSA).

Items included Longi PV modules, SolarEdge inverters, Enphase micro-inverters, and LG & Tesla batteries. ° Coordinated the inventory control of field service solar maintenance through 4 national distribution centers to 52 market warehouses, supporting 900K customers. ° Developed the programs that oversaw the tracking of $48M of annual Vendor Return Material Authorization (RMA) for failed Solar systems. Coordinated with leaders in Operations, Procurement,and Accounting for the tracking and recovery of $22M of supplier RMA reimbursements.° Oversaw the supplier engagement, negotiations, and ongoing vendor support for three major solar equipment recalls and warranty replacement projects. Relocated and replaced 370K microinverters, 10K PV Solar Panels, and 40K solar batteries. ° As part of the Sunrun acquisition of Vivint Solar, led the transition and consolidation of Field Service Supply Chain related databases, platforms, and systems. Helped to introduce a field service performance dashboard in Tableau utilizing the SnowFlake data warehouse.
