This high complexity lab position entails travel between 10 + mobile laboratories around the country that engage in SARS-COVID-2 research and clinical testing via RT-qPCR and QSTAR. Typical responsibilities include: part-time Lab manager, outfitting labs, training/ managing 50+ lab techs, ensuring successful sample processing, organizing meetings, communicating directly with the Lab Directors, company owners, and clients. I worked directly with patients and assist with their needs. This ranges from checking them into their appointment to helping them retrieve their medical records. I would also communicated with law firms insurance agencies, and medical representatives to setup meetings with the clinic. I had direct contact with the Physicians and Physician assistants along the way to assist with patient experience. This scientist position is responsible for Quality Control testing of raw materials and excipients used in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products governed by the FDA. I spent most of my time researching mouse skeletal muscles via associations of protein and mitochondrial activity. I observed biogenesis of mitochondria with biomarkers and the effects of fatty acids determined by primary and secondary antibodies.
