Developed and implemented in less than 6 months a process plan to phase transfer $150 million in equipment and 1,700 personnel over a 1 week period without interrupting ongoing care. - Planned and supervised the annual performance review/evaluation of more than 1,500 staff members ensuring 100% accuracy, timeliness and compliance with relevant guidance with zero contested appraisals. - Directed a 45 member team in assuring detailed planning and execution of more than 50 federal, state and military compliance programs required to receive accreditation survey by The Joint Commission (healthcare accrediting agency) and the U.S. Navy Medical Inspector General teams. This was done less than 90 days following initial occupancy operations of the new facility. Senior Enlisted Leader | Hr Director For Inpatient Services (250 Bed Medical Center)Us Navy 2006 - 2009Washington, Dc, UsResponsible for managing more than 250 multidisciplinary military and civilian healthcare professionals and paraprofessionals staffing 10 cross functional outpatient and inpatient care units ranging from outpatient surgical services to a 25-bed regional Intensive Care Unit. Managed the 12 months services transition to support HVAC renovation of all inpatient care spaces without degradation of services for more than 12,000 annual admissions. - Awarded Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for managing a first of kind shore based program to provide automated tracking of active duty medical readiness. In less than 5 months, executed a transition team of more than 50 personnel through a detailed process which recovered more than 700 missing health records and created web based, real time readiness and medical needs tracking for more than 18,000 Sailors distributed across the Southwest region of the United States. This proof of concept was so successful that it was implemented across the entire Department of the Navy and became the official program of record for monitoring operational medical readiness.
