Serves as a Supervisor Traffic Management Coordinator in a Level 11 En-Route Facility, responsible for ensuring that efficient and effective traffic management is maintained.Provides first line supervision to a staff of 17 Traffic Management Coordinators. Ensures that traffic instructions/restrictions are initiated in accordance with established procedures to maintain a safe and expeditious flow of traffic and minimize the impact of heavy flight demands. Provides first line supervision to a team of 40 developmental and certified professional controllers. Supervises a staff of air traffic control specialists who are responsible for carrying out air traffic control assignments within a geographic area. Plans and assigns work to be accomplished by subordinate employees. Sets work priorities and schedules. Approves leave; gives advice, counsel, and instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters. Evaluates performance of employees and recommends performance ratings.
