• Overseeing all activities pertaining to concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing, and curing.• Resolving all problems that may affect project quality and completion.• Delegating tasks to concrete laborers and finishers, while providing overall guidance.• Maintaining accurate records of the number of hours worked and the amount of materials used for each project.• Inspecting concrete after the formwork and shoring have been removed. Instructing employees on how to correct defects and concrete roughness if required.

• Three years of practical experience working with cranes and as a Crane Operator• Currently in Crane Operator Certification/apprenticeship program and awaiting registration for third year classes• Functional knowledge of installing and removing crane booms and hook blocks as well as the complete tear down/reassembly of Terex crawler cranes for transport • Hands on experience in positioning crane outrigger assemblies and maneuvers in accordance to hand signals• In depth knowledge of inspecting cranes for defects and performing preventive maintenance• Assisting in the construction/completion of the Anthony Henday ring road including piling installation, concrete pouring/finishing, crane tear downs/assembly, and equipment operation.

(Stop work authority)• Identify hazards in the workplace and implement sufficient controls to prevent incidents.• Participate in pre-tour meetings and participate in and/or lead pre-task meetings. • Work under the direction of the Driller and/or Rig Manager.• Take regularly scheduled readings of specific rig equipment and record them as directed by the Rig Manager.• Perform maintenance and repairs on rig equipment as per Company Maintenance System.• Communicate specific maintenance or repair needs to the Rig Manager as required. (i.e.: the need to have 3rd party or Region/Division field service technician's assistance.)• Monitor and report the inventory of spare parts and lubricants for rig equipment as directed by the Rig Manager.• Work on the rig floor during tripping operations as directed by the Driller.• Operate pipe handling equipment on the drilling location.• Maintain good housekeeping on the drilling location to include rig components, offices and accommodations. • Report incidents, equipment failures, system failures and abnormalities as per Company procedures.• Train and mentor floorhands to reduce the possibility of injury.
