Over the past 25 years, Chris has held a number of CEO and senior commercial and marketing executive roles. He specialises in leading the successful development, delivery and management of major and high-profile projects, including digital and business transformation in telecoms, broadcast, sports and Government entities. He has extensive expertise at Board Director level, bringing together multi-disciplinary teams across the public and private sectors. His particular strengths include setting the strategic direction and strategy for high profile, challenging business development initiatives within complex UK and international market sectors. Chris was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s New Year Honours 2012 for his contribution as Commercial Director of the London 2012 Olympic Games. He was subsequently awarded his CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2021 for his voluntary role as CEO of the Covid-19 Shielding Programme. Chris is also a Trustee of the Royal Opera House and a director of the development board of the Prince of Wales’ patron charity Tusk.Chris continues to invest in technology start ups including Extratime and currently has a portfolio of six investments.
