CurrentIn my role as a Senior Project Manager at Q4 Architects Inc., I am at the forefront of overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of a diverse range of architectural projects. As a part of the Project Management team, which includes licensed Architects and seasoned professionals, I serve as a main point of contact for clients and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.My extensive experience is rooted in a deep understanding of architectural principles, design processes, construction techniques, site plan development, and zoning. While I possess the capability to act as the lead designer for a project within our practice, my primary focus is on engaging in the managerial tasks essential for guiding a project from concept to construction. Excelling in communication skills, I serve as a primary liaison between Q4A and project stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and understanding. This involves working alongside both internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Upholding design intent while meeting contractual obligations, client expectations, and maintaining a high quality of service is paramount. I am skilled in contract preparation, budget planning, tracking, and cost control measures. This involves monitoring contractual obligations and managing the financial and staffing resources of my team. Beyond in-office duties, I actively engage in construction administration, delving into the review of ongoing site construction. This requires a deep knowledge base in construction methodologies, relevant building codes, zoning by-laws, and other guiding documentation that govern the construction site.Fostering a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective teamwork, and resolving conflicts if necessary are integral to my responsibilities. I provide leadership and guidance to project team members, supporting their professional growth and development.
