Owns and manages the processes and practices of the HR Operations function. Manage a range of operations focussed projects and delivery including contract management, procurement, payroll and benefits. Lead on process improvement, innovation and consistency across the HR team, managing standards across HR operations and providing expertise to the the team and wider business. Works closely with external suppliers to keep up to date with HR best practice trends and changes in order to continuously improve HR processes. Delivers accurate and efficient HRIS support ranging across the full employee lifecycle, including ownership of ATS (iCIMS), LMS (Saba) and SAP HR. Line Management of six HR Coordinators and acts as an advisory point of contact for Operations processes for the Business Partnering team.

Assist the Recruitment Team in processing correspondence, and preparing onboarding documentation for new & existing Queensland Government employees within Department Employment, Economic Development & Innovation. Duties included: Updating Aurion & SAP HR databases▪ Producing letters of appointment & contracts for new employees▪ Buddy checking colleagues letters▪ Team Development▪ Unsuccessful notifications and closing off recruitment processes in ATS

Assist the Personnel team in providing general HR support and advice in all aspects of personnel administration for all museum departments. Duties included:▪ Inform external payroll provider of all starters/leavers and payroll changes▪ Update all sick/attendance records▪ CRB and security clearances▪ Retirement administration▪ Pension administration▪ Personnel filing▪ Starter and leaver reporting

Organise and supervise staff with daily and weekly workflow and turnaround of the Queensland Government recruitment applications team. Assist the team with keeping to SLA’s and workloads to ensure work is completed according the organizations Operating Level Agreement. Duties include: ▪ Induction of new colleagues▪ Assisting staff with any issues and training of policies▪ Assist in continual development procedures▪ Rostering▪ Quality Assurance checking application kits before being sent to panel members▪ Review and development of policies and procedures

Assist the Advertising Team with the completion of Advertisements to be posted for Queensland Treasury in both Internal systems and External providers ie newspaper/Internet. Tasks had to be completed within a specified time frame.
