I am a French Immersion (French/Math) teacher with the Toronto District School Board since 1996 (over 25 years!). I enjoy teaching students very much and I work diligently to help as many students as possible. I graduated from UW (Honours B.A., Applied Studies Co-op), BrockU (B.Ed) and spent a year studying at La Sorbonne and La Sorbonne-Nouvelle in Paris, France. I'm also very passionate about EdTech and eLearning. During the pandemic, I found that many university and college students I was working with were struggling financially as they lost their jobs. At the same time, online classes were not effective and elementary and high school students were struggling to find affordable and quality tutors. So, I created EduTutor.ca where we provide quality and affordable tutoring for K-12 students while providing flexible and well-paid part-time jobs to university and college students. I am also the CEO of an eLearning company called EduShare. We are creating a collaborative and curated cloud-based platform that will help teachers and students share their knowledge and resources. I'm currently working with students at the University of Saskatchewan and York University on the project. We are creating a platform that will help students and teachers by integrating AI and HI. I'm always looking to chat with anyone who is interested in EdTech, gamification, AR/VR/MR and how to make education more engaging, meaningful and impactful for students. I've worked with fantastic students at Sheridan College's Game Design Program as well as students from the University of Waterloo to develop the eLearning platform. I have backpacked through Australia, Europe, South America, Central America, Asia and Africa. Antarctica is still on my list of places I would love to journey to.
