I am responsible for the overall coordinated, effective, and efficient day-to-day operation of the Communications Department. I am accountable for the entire Communications operation including managing the management staff, daily shift operation of the Dispatch Center, System Status Management data generation, and general supervision of the worksite personnel on a moment-by-moment basis.

As Communications Supervisor is was primarily responsible for monitoring the activities of various shifts within the Communications Center. These activities include the coordination of scheduling, maintaining the SSM plan, and ensuring adherence to the OGLs.DUTIES:1. Develop, maintain, and coordinate the communications center schedule.2. Fill open communications center shifts.3. Monitor waiting and active calls.4. Provide proactive on-line support for trouble shooting of equipment problems.5. Assist in modifying calls or SSM plans to meet contract response requirements.6. Ensure that OGLs are understood and followed.7. Resolve immediate problems in the worksite.8. Participate on accumulation of QA/QI data.9. Investigate incidents and complaints.10. Assist in training and continuing education.11. Responsible and accountable for daily compliance of shift to performance standards.12. Develop, analyze, and evaluate daily reports.13. Other duties as assigned.

· Designed and implemented a 4 site Cisco IP Telephony solutions.· Designed and implemented 50 seats Call Manager/Unity/ installs.· Designed and integrated Cisco gateway with Avaya PBX.· Upgraded Cisco Call Managers from 3.1 (2C) to 3.3 (3)· Manage Cisco Call Managers from add, move and changes.· Manage Cisco Unity from add, move and changes.· Implemented and Designed AMR’s Wide Area Network from MCI WorldCom to Broad Wing Network- Worked with Corporate Engineers to design a Wide Area Network with Broad Wing. Engineers to design a National project plan to implemented new network in the South Western Region with time lines and installation dates.·
