As Group Financial Manager, planning, directing & controlling the financial activities, I was responsible for ensuring the financial processes, controls & procedures were in place. During my time at Deloitte, I was part of a consulting project at ABSA to streamline the reconciliation process throughout the various areas in the organisation. I was also accountable for planning and executing audits, reviewing and preparing financial statements, as well as consolidating financial statements. I successfully achieved a consistent high-performance evaluation and received an Exceptional Client Service Award from Deloitte in Dubai. I also received an Overall Exceptional Performance award from Deloitte in Johannesburg.
