I have been in the semiconductor industry since I graduated in the summer of 2012. My start was in the field where I gained hands on experience with Lam 2300 Etch tools. The 5 years I worked at large-scale semiconductor fabs provided valuable knowledge on the operation of these tools, customer needs and how to address them, the importance of 5S, and troubleshooting expertise. I believe the days that I spent on the floor of fabs gives me not only a better understanding of the tools, but also of the semiconductor industry.During my time working in the field, I pushed myself to earn a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. This, in addition to my Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, provides with me a multi-disciplined engineering background. I am always looking to expand my technical capability and willing to put in the extra time to do so.For over a year now, I have worked as a supplier engineer in the RF power commodity at Lam Research. I oversee the day to day operations of the supplier as well as managing them to meet the long term goals of Lam and our customers. My job roles include approving failure analysis reports that follow 8D format, engaging the supplier and Lam product group to solve customer escalations, and organizing field failures to better identify systematic issues.Although I am focused and diligent in my work, I interact well in a team environment and always have a positive attitude. I believe that having a positive attitude at all times helps to build the work environment that I want to a part of. To me, the most important part of a team environment is fostering trust among the group and recognizing the efforts of your coworkers.
