Engineer Officer in the US Army bringing almost 4 years of leadership experience. In search of new challenges in the construction management and branch management fields. My time in the military has taught me a wide array of skills to include a professional and focused attitude, the ability to create interpersonal relationships and coordinate, resilience, self-discipline, adaptability, and above all problem-solving. Being a leader in the U.S. Army has been one of the greatest honors I could ever ask for, especially leading those that raised their right hand to serve this great country. As an engineer officer, I have safely trained subordinates during multiple live-exercises, worked in high stress environments, accounted for and maintained over $4.3 million in vehicles and equipment, juggled multiple projects and tasks to ensure high quality and timely delivery, supervised the fielding of new and innovative technology, and certified HAZMAT Transportations across the continental U.S.Before serving in the Army, I worked as a business developer and manager at the U.S. Lawns Owensboro, KY branch. During my time at U.S. Lawns, I leveraged cold calling, in-person visits and referrals to build leads and gain new customers. I also supervised staff performing daily activities during the mowing season and performed quality control checks to ensure customer needs were met and satisfied with our work. While managing and marketing for US Lawns, I was attending Western Kentucky University in pursuit of a degree in Marketing with a focus in Sales. Despite balancing work and putting myself through school, I graduated from WKU in May 2018; twice earning a place on the deans list. I am eager to continue learning and I hope to bring my skills that I have gained over my career to the private sector where I know I can make an immediate impact.
