Assist job seekers and employers to fill job vacancies with individuals who possess the necessary skills and experience for the job. Provide technical assistance by using WorkInTexas (WIT) to obtain the best results. Refer and job develop clients to jobs based on employers requirements on job orders. Provide priority services to veterans. Assist applicants in developing quality WIT applications for employment based on qualifications such as experience, training, skills, abilities, interests and other factors relevant to proper selection for referral to suitable job openings. Perform employment counseling. Disseminates labor market information and information regarding Workforce Development Services. Unemployment Insurance and supportive services. Provide reemployment services (RESEA) to individuals receiving Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits. RESEA program coordinator for extended unemployment benefits. Assist employers in establishing WIT accounts, Interview employers to obtain job posting requirements and hire status. Maintain contact with employers to take job orders, amend job posting information, and update tax information on WIT posting as needed. Assist co-workers and employers in coordinating for hiring events and job fairs. Contact employers to establish/continue working relationships. Process unemployment payment claims for 2 years during the COVID-19 outbreak.
