I exhibit exceptional organizational leadership and management skills with a foundation in successful recruitment and retention of top talent. I am a military veteran employment evangelist and a firm believer that the primary gap in hiring veterans is knowledge. By educating veterans on civilian employment opportunities and even more so, HR professional, recruiters and hiring managers on veteran qualifications the language barrier can be breached. Much like my role in IT, I am successful in the veteran services arena because I take the time to learn my customer’s requirements and translate those into skills learned by veterans in their time in the military. This "homework" allows my customers to target recruit veterans and have a meaningful engagement.
