My main responsibilities were to carry out maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on a large range of plant as outlined below. • Cat, Volvo and Hitachi Excavators.• Terex and Grove Cranes up to 160 Ton• Volvo and Caterpillar Moxies• Mobile Rock Screens and Conveyors• Generators and Compressors• Buses• Isuzu and Volvo Prime Movers• Toyota Light VehiclesDue to the remoteness of the job site there was no outworking of tasks, so was required to undertake all tasks from making up hydraulic hoses to Tyre fitting. I was responsible for making sure our workshop was compliant with OH&S and site specific regulations, maintaining very high standards.I was actively involved in onsite safety as a member of the Emergency response team and the Incident and Injury Free team. It is most important to me that my work mates and I go home safely at the end of the day.

Operating: Caterpillar Dump Trucks, Water Trucks, Cat loaders 988 & 980 in the construction of the wharf and break wall on Barrow Island.I was also required to carry out general labourers duties.I was on this job until completion of the project.
