I am a learning and development specialist and experienced researcher, with a track record in delivering digital solutions for a wide variety of learners and researchers. I am currently the Head of Digital Development of Advance HE where I am responsible for ensuring the creation and implementation of Advance HE’s digital product and service ambitions. I also hold an Online Learning Fellowship at the at the Centre for Reviews and Dissemination, University of York, and I am Founder of Curious Axe, a digital education and engagement organisation.My previous role was the Learning Manager at Cochrane, a health research organisation. I led the Learning Team, a staff of learning and development practitioners, developing and delivering virtual and face-to-face learning about all aspects of Cochrane’s systematic review activities. I have a broad range of learning, research and knowledge translation experience in a variety of sectors, including health care, business, higher education and market research. I am expert in the development and management of complex learning ecosystems, and the use of these to deliver contemporary and impactful online learning programmes. I have a range of experience and expertise in research roles. I was previously a researcher in a senior management position, managing a team of research and innovation analysts to provide evidence for policy and practice development, and for the development of evidence-based educational and professional resources to transform care. I have strong knowledge translation and knowledge management experience, and have expertise in working creatively and collaboratively on projects with actionable results. This includes authoring evidence-based policy or practice reports, and learning and development websites.
