I Currently hold a second class motor, working as technical superintendent for FSVGroup in Newfoundland My previous employment include chief engineer onboard the well boat Ronja Islander for solvtrans in and around Vancouver Island, British Columbia 2021-2023 . October 2021. 2017- dec 2020 Worked onboard the 6th generation semi submersible drilling rig Transocean barents as 2nd assistant engineer . I have 15 years in the offshore and marine industry as Engine Room Operator and motorman onboard a couple rigs and ships such a DP3 6th Generation Harsh environment Semi-Submersible Drilling rig Eirik Raude which has worked off Canada, Gulf Of Mexico, west Africa, Ireland, south Africa and the Falkland Islands, working as engineer onboard the Canadian ice breaker Polar Prince doing seismic support off the coast of Canada and the pipe laying ship Audicia off the coat of Canada as deck mechanic I am familiar with a vast array of equipment, concepts, technologies, procedures and responsibilities in the offshore industry including: safety policy and procedures, safety systems, diesel power plants, propulsion plants, power management , cargo handling and auxiliary machinery systems, all which controlled by a K-Chief 1000 control system. I have some experience with maintenance on drilling and sub sea equipment.
