Feel free to contact me to find out more, or visit ReelFlow.com ===Prior to ReelFlow, I was CEO and co-founder of Akkroo, a B2B SaaS company in the EventTech space, which we built from a startup idea in 2013 to a $34M acquisition by US-based, B2B MarTech company Integrate in 2019. After nearly 3 years as part of the Executive Leadership Team, Audax Private Equity acquired a majority stake in Integrate and I moved on at the start of 2022, taking a year out to enjoy time with my young family. Akkroo was borne out of an idea within my first startup, RMP Enterprise, where I was co-founder & joint Managing Director. We initially launched RateMyPlacement.co.uk as students out of Loughborough University in 2007, expanding to a suite of products in the early careers space under the RMP brand and the business is now a well established market leader. In December 2022, the RMP Leadership Team completed a very successful Management Buy Out of early shareholders and investors; I now continue as a minority shareholder and Chair the Board. Alongside my startup and advisory work, I have also made a number of angel investments in both B2B SaaS businesses and climate-tech/sustainability startups, an area I continue to explore and am increasingly passionate about. Full-Time ParentingCareer Break Feb 2022 - Dec 2022I spent most of 2022 enjoying some time out and being present with my young family of 3 kids aged 5 and under! I completed a couple of half marathons and a 500km charity cycle across Ireland, as well as just generally enjoying a much needed break away from work-mode. Highly recommended if you ever get the chance to do the same! In the background, I continued to do a lot of reading and listening around SaaS, the startup scene and the climate tech space, as well as some advisory work for other UK-based SaaS startups.

The Integrate business saw revenue triple in 3 years, leading to a successful acquisition by Audax Private Equity in December 2021. -
General Manager, Event SolutionsIntegrate Apr 2019 - Jan 2022Phoenix, Az, UsGeneral Manager for our Event Solutions within Integrate following the acquisition of Akkroo in April 2019.The remainder of 2019 was a year of adapting to life after acquisition, working as part of the Integrate Senior Leadership Team to help navigate through the inevitable changes, rebrand and integration of the two businesses. Our Event Solution had a fantastic start to 2020 from both a revenue and retention perspective, before Covid hit and sadly shut down the global live events industry overnight. We deployed a number of flexible tactics to successfully retain as many customers as we could during the Covid era, and it was pleasing to see many return to the product as events began to restart in 2021. We also used the opportunity to accelerate a product rebuild and innovate ahead of events reopening.

Co-Founder & CeoAkkroo, An Integrate Company Jan 2013 - Dec 2019London, London, Gb**Akkroo was acquired by Integrate in April 2019**We launched Akkroo in 2013, initially as a mobile data capture solution for use in a wide range of scenarios and sectors including retail, experiential marketing and events. We were largely bootstrapped during our first couple of years as we experimented in different markets and use cases. In 2016, we doubled down on a pure SaaS business model, solving the event lead capture challenges faced by B2B Marketing teams at trade shows, exhibitions and events all over the world. We raised ~$3M in funding across a couple of rounds, saw >100% Y-on-Y ARR growth across 2016-2018, built a team in London of 45 people and this lead to an acquisition approach from Integrate in late 2018. After several months of discussions, we decided it was the right move for us to join forces with Integrate and the acquisition was completed in April 2019, valuing Akkroo at $34M. -

RMP has since gone on to become well-established as a major player in the early careers and student recruitment market.The original version of what went on to become Akkroo was developed within RMP back in 2010-11. We took the decision to spin off Akkroo in 2013 as a standalone SaaS business which I took the lead on and consequently stepped back from day-to-day involvement with RMP, whilst remaining on the Board.
