I work in partnership with the CEO and Leadership Team to ensure QCEC's professional services help the Commission meet its strategic objectives. We oversee the governance, strategy, operations, finances and P&Ls on behalf of QCEC. QCEC is a for-purpose peak body representing and administering funding to 22 authorities operating 313 non-government schools in urban, regional and remote parts of Queensland. In essence QCEC works with service partners as a system authority to administer and remain accountable for $2.6B annually in government funding. QCEC is both the voice for and advocate to government on behalf of Catholic schools in Queensland in respect of funding, operational and strategic issues.
