I am an executive manager, with proven experience leading all major facets of Information Technology and Product Management including Lean Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Development, Operations and Information Security. Being involved in bootstrapping several startups I also have significant experience in other disciplines such as Legal, Finance, HR and Sales. I have been instrumental in orchestrating the maturation of multiple organisation by, for example, planning organisational structural changes and introducing formal budgeting, risk, objective and reporting processes.I am passionate about Information Technology and continually experimenting with new technologies to ensure I remain relevant. I have a particular special interest in Information Security and am adept in implementing management structures & systems in compliance with a range of standards / frameworks and methodologies including COBIT, ISO27001, ISO30001, ITIL, Agile, DevOps etc. I have led the design, build, operation and securing of several key components of Australia’s national Internet infrastructure.Specialities include: Cyber Security, DNS, DevOps, Governance, Internet Architecture, Routing, Systems & Network Engineering, Agile Development, Technology Strategy, Management and more.I have previously been a regular participant in global Internet bodies including ICANN and the IETF, am a sort after presenter and have consulted to various governments on the implementation and security of critical national infrastructure.I hold a CISSP certification and enjoy being "on the tools" just as much as I enjoy building and leading successful teams.
