Our product creation engine includes early innovation exploration, R&D across disciplines (composites, vehicle dynamics, human performance, aerodynamics, mechatronics, Turbo e-bike technology and more), design engineering to commercialization, and digital product (mobile apps and web). Also responsible for a subset of product operations, including sourcing, manufacturing development and quality. Key contributor to product marketing, including positioning and GTM strategy.

Integrated Technologies is a diverse group of people working together to embody the Specialized founding principle: focusing on the rider's need for technically advanced product that provide a performance benefit. We are comprised of five different teams:Applied Technologies is a team of engineers with specialties in data analysis, simulation, aerodynamics, and composites to help accelerate product development.Human Performance is a team of biomechanists and physiologists who help us understand the rider in a quantifiable way, and by extension help us create product that better serves them. S-Digital is a team that develops and oversees digital product and experiences, including rider-facing apps. Retul builds the world's most technologically advanced tools to help measure and analyze riders.The Accelerator is a technology incubator, developing solutions to accelerate product and rider experience innovation. This team is driving the future of cycling.

Leading a group of engineers responsible for structural analysis and optimization, composite design and optimization, vehicle dynamics and race simulation, and Aerodynamics R&D across all product groups at Specialized. Also working collaboratively within Specialized to bring new technologies from different industries into meaningful product and experience improvements for our riders.

Led the design of the Specialized "Win Tunnel", an industry-first full scale, human sport specific wind tunnel which has been used for research and development of several major products as well as for testing numerous world class and Olympic athletes. Led the Aerodynamics R&D of many products across all groups (road and mountain bikes and components, Roval wheels, helmets, apparel, and shoes) as well as athlete testing and race simulation.

The Zone 5 Cloud platform enables sports tech companies and entrepreneurs to deliver digital products to market faster and at a lower cost. Zone 5 Cloud offers a solution to many of the software development hurdles faced when building sport and fitness apps and websites. We’ve done the blocking and tackling for you so that you can focus on innovating and accelerating your go to market strategy.
