Successfully completed a 14 week Java coding boot camp at Tech Elevator with a 3.0 (out of 3.0) prefect score on all technical work. Below is a list of projects I worked on while enrolled:- Vending Machine ApplicationTech Elevators first group capstone project was a vending machine CLI application. Users can add virtual money and purchase simulated snacks. The project was developed in Java using object-oriented programming principles. - TEnmo ApplicationTech Elevator's second group capstone project, Tenmo, is a Venmo clone designed for simulating fund transfers and views through a CLI application. We used our knowledge of Java for the backend, applying object-oriented principles and connecting to a PostgreSQL database via the JDBC template.- NominEat (a restaurant selection application using external API's)NominEat is a restaurant selection service where you, as an event organizer, search for and select a number of restaurants that you would like to eat at. Then send that list to your friends and ask them to vote for their favorites.Group restaurant selection is now a fun event for the entire group.NominEat was our final capstone project at the Tech Elevator bootcamp. I designed the database and wrote backend code using Java/Spring Boot, connecting to a PostgreSQL server via the JDBC Template. I also integrated an external Yelp! API, set up internal API endpoints with the REST Template, and helped finalize the front-end features using Vue.js and Axios.
