I built an ingest pipeline that incorporated data from Active Directory, Workday and over 60 File Servers. The pipeline included fetching the data, extracting property information from the files, matching user information, matching departments and then matching that data to a common schema. The data was then ingested into an Elasticsearch (Elastic Stack) index and visualized with Kibana (Elastic Stack). The result was providing the insights required to make clear business decisions on what data could be moved, when that data could be moved and any downstream impacts of moving that data.

Many of the projects included the effort of modeling their data and developing solutions that would allow them to create data, classify that data and roll it up into a useful visualization for corporate consumption. In many cases, this involved diagramming the relationships that data had with several sources, both database and SharePoint list data.

When the Microsoft Office Marketing team needed a solution developed that would allow companies to create their own Digital Dashboards similar to those being demonstrated by Bill Gates (without the need for a large development team), I was tasked with a small team to create a user-customizable dashboard that would allow Microsoft customers the ability to visualize corporate data with a dashboard that they created themselves with the use of zones and widgets.
