This role involves reviewing,editing and ingesting commercials and promotional material to go to air, using Media Asset Management programs such as Momentum, MassStore, Pebble Beach and Aurora Edit. The role also involves cueing, timing and ingesting programs to go to air on WIN, GEM, GO!, GOLD and GOLD 2, as well as editing together the news programs for the South Coast, Canberra, Central West and Riverina markets.In 2013 I completed a contract in a Grade 3/4 position as a Technology Support Officer with the NSW Department of Education and Communities, working on the NSW Public Schools eT4L Project across the Illawarra and South East region. This role involved the large scale migration of an existing network to a centrally monitored, single network, linking all public schools in the state. This involved providing on-site 1st and 2nd level technical support to school staff, as well as the reconfiguration and reimaging of devices to the new network protocols.In December 2012 I graduated from the University of Wollongong having completed a degree in Communication and Media Studies, majoring in Digital Communications. This entailed studies in audience research and research practices and methodologies, with a specific focus on Web 2.0, new media technologies. Specifically, I have focused on social media and networking, studying how to maintain and increase an online presence.Prior to this, I studied Information and Communication Technology, majoring in Network and Systems Management, also at the University of Wollongong.Between October 2007 and February 2014 I was employed at Dick Smith as a Shift Supervisor, working at various stores across the Illawarra region. In this role I gained customer service, sales and managerial experience in a team environment.
