The implementation included extensive standardization of business processes and required a complex change management component. The Veneer and Plywood divisions had different manufacturing modes, with the Veneer mills being make-to-stock and the Plywood mills being make-to-order. The rollout involved eight mills in the U.S. and Canada with over 1000 users. The project team peaked at more than 70 persons. I was a Project Lead responsible for implementing a customized version of the Ross Systems ERP package to 6 Plywood mills. I joined the Plywood Team upon completion of the Veneer mills budgeting system. Responsible for managing the data conversion/interface team, implementation planning, mock conversions, final conversions, and rollouts.
