I managed projects c.£500k in the commercial and industrial sectors. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, I was responsible for sourcing labour, managing contractual variations, preparing valuations, ordering materials, ensuring smooth operations of sites, attending client meetings, keeping projects on time and to budget and dealing with technical queries.I was also the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor.

I managed the electrical division of BSG Property Services who provide the full scope of electrical services to housing associations and homes throughout Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire.My role involved managing a team of 12 electricians and a supervisor, client liaison including attending progress meetings, preparing quotations and invoices, being part of the senior management team and handling day to day technical queries.

I set up the business employing three electricians to deliver electrical services to businesses, schools and residential clients. My role involved project managing contracts, managing the team, liaising with contractors and communicating with customers. I also dealt with invoicing, quotations, risk assessments, method statements, test certificates, health and safety and accounting. I was the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor.
