Summary: This position is responsible for taking and maintaining the minutes of all Board of Directors and Officers meetings. The Secretary is responsible for communicating monthly LHRMA meeting notices and all pertinent information to the membership. This position will coordinate monthly meeting details with venue contacts. In accordance with the LHRMA By-laws, this is considered a first class position with a two year term. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Be present at all Board meetings to take, distribute and maintain meeting minutes.Secure venue for monthly membership meetings. Coordinate meal selection and all logistics of the meeting based on the topic and speaker. Communicate meeting notices to the membership on a monthly basis.Maintain the LHRMA website to update monthly meeting information and RSVP function.Manage the RSVP function for the monthly meetings and communicate to the vendor contact. Create member and guest name tags for the meeting. Advise Board members accordingly.Responsible for care taking and maintenance of the LHRMA laptop to be used for storage of current and historical information.
