As a new(ish) manager, have you noticed that things are more complicated and challenging than you expected? If so, you’re not alone.New(ish) managers often struggle with the same issues: building trust with their team, setting clear expectations, giving feedback effectively, and delegating authority. These challenges can be overcome with effort and attention, but it's not always easy. As a leadership coach, I help new(ish) managers develop the skills they need to overcome these challenges and become successful leaders.I have over 15 years of experience in training and development, leadership coaching, and organizational development. I've worked with leaders at all levels, from front-line managers to C-suite executives across various industries. No matter whom I'm working with, my goal is always the same: to help them unlock their potential and reach their goals. I do this by providing them with practical tools and guidance they can use in their everyday lives. Also, I host a podcast for new(ish) managers who want to level up their leadership skills. In each episode, I interview leaders who've been down the road before to learn from their experience or with experts on topics relevant to leadership (such as burnout, mindfulness, and wellness). My superpower is creating metaphors and analogies that help people quickly understand new ideas. When someone struggles to understand a difficult concept, I can usually find a way to explain it in a way that makes sense to them. As a result, I've been able to help lots of people learn about all kinds of things - from managing time to unconscious bias. I love seeing the lightbulb go off in someone's head when they finally understand something they've been struggling with.I firmly believe that we all have untapped potential, and my mission in life is to help people unlock their greatness. I love seeing people accomplish things they never thought possible, and I get a great sense of satisfaction from knowing that I played a role in helping them reach their goals. If you are a new(ish) manager who wants to stop struggling, let’s connect. You can message me here on LinkedIn or email me at chris@chrisasper.com
