Telesales ExecutiveSage Pay Feb 2011 - Sep 2012Newcastle Upon Tyne, GbWorking in the telesales team I sold a wide range of products to new and existing customers. Whether over the phone or face to face I always offered a great experience to my clients. It is essential to quickly establish their individual requirements but also exceed any expectations. It is very important to make a good first impression as this not only reflects on myself, but the company as well. I was very organised and methodical how I went about my day to day role. This allowed me to prioritise what needed doing and not only hit but over achieve on targets.Key Achievements:For the full year I was on the team I was the highest performer achieving the following:1012% revenue against Merchant Services**53 Accounts going live against a target of 30. 103% Payment Gateway105% Pay Pal target100% on quality Average talk time of 2 hours 25 minutes against a target of 2 hours. Each year Sage attends a show at Earl’s Court in London. This is a 2 day event and can generate a lot of business so I volunteered to go as a representative for Sage Pay. NightshiftSage Pay Jan 2010 - Jan 2011Newcastle Upon Tyne, GbIn this role the variation and responsibility of being part of the night-shift team ensured I was in charge of my own time. This meant I had to plan my own workload and by making key decisions I was able to communicate all aspects of our role to the day shift. As I am organised, driven, and resilient I had no problem doing this or meeting deadlines. I am very passionate about our customers so by fact finding and listening to developers I was able to offer excellent advice. I am resourceful so I enjoyed using all the tools at my disposal. If we had any issues, I was the first point of contact and would regularly liaise with our London office so any downtime was kept to a minimum. Key AchievementsProject Black: I was a member of the team who dealt with the project black changeover. Over a period of timewe experienced a number of issues resulting in downtime and intermittent issues. This was a very demandingtime for the business but by remaining calm and, showing empathy to our customers I was able to maintain aprofessional stance. As I was aware of the business needs I happily worked late or came in on my days off.System Knowledge: By using our protocol guides, integration kits and TX Info I was able to develop my owntechnical knowledge. -
Technical SupportSage Pay Aug 2008 - Jan 2010Newcastle Upon Tyne, GbIn this telephone and email based role, I was part of a team that helped our customers use Sage Pay so their business can trade online or over the phone. Through the training provided and my own research I was able to gain an in-depth understanding of the e-commerce marketplace. By questioning the customer, I was able to establish their problem and resolve it first time. I always hit my KPI’s and recorded accurate notes on each account. When possible, I preferred sending my emails through outlook as I felt this more professional and I could be held accountable for all queries. -
Mortgage UnderwriterNationwide Building Society Mar 2006 - Aug 2008Swindon, Wilts, GbNationwide Building Society provides financial services both directly, and through around 700 branches. Nationwide is a major provider of both mortgage loans and savings in the UK, as well as personal banking such as loans, credit cards, bank accounts and insurance products.I was responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with mortgage advisors in our region. It was essential that they had a good view of myself and the company otherwise they would look elsewhere. As I was dealing with mortgage applications, this was a high pressure environment and turnaround time had to be very quick. Accuracy was key and a high level of quality had to be achieved. From a risk point of view, I had to establish if they could afford the mortgage and at times, this meant delivering bad news. I always tried to show empathy and understanding whilst offering possible solutions.
