CurrentI have the great opportunity to oversee Business Technology for National Nail Corp. Responsibilities include the technology budget, researching new technologies, recommending, buying, and development. At a granular level this includes network hardware and software, WAN, telco and cellular contracts, printers, PCs, servers, mobile devices, scanners, IT contractors, applications (ERP, Forecasting and Inventory Planning, bar coding, mapping, WMS, etc.) and application development (heavy clients, mobile and web). Developed many applications around our legacy system such as: an Inventory Locator system, Truck Routing Application, Ocean Freight Quote and least cost screen, Landed Cost analysis screen, Sales Planning and Budgeting app, a Total Online Management (T.O.M.) portal for our customers and employees and our Supply Chain Portal that took that segment of our business paperless while linking our vendors, customers, transportation providers and employees into one system.Along with Business Technology, I lead our Operations Department. Responsibilities included leading our 5 DCs at the time, the private fleet, negotiating and managing our LTL, TL, parcel, ocean freight (steamship and NVOCCs) contracts, planning and budgeting and the great employee-owners in Operations. I'm also a member of the Executive Team.
