I organise the scouting and recruitment of players at Huddersfield Town (Primarily first team, but also assist in the Academy).I setup and manage a process for tracking information, including scouting reports, background information, statistics and decisions. This involves advanced tools such as R Studio, Tableau Prep, Tableau, Scout7 ISF and Statsbomb to provide in-depth information at scout's fingertips.I provide research and information to inform decision making surrounding player trading.Combine traditional scouting with video scouting, advanced statistics and background research.I manage our relationships with external companies such as Statsbomb, Wyscout, InStat and OptaPro.I am also managing the implementation of the SAP SportsOne system across the club, working with all departments and staff; including board members, heads of department and staff. I am configuring the system to suit our requirements and training staff. It's been a huge project, but very satisfying to see the product helping staff. I am also developing SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards; enabling key staff at the club to access data required to support decision-making.
