I am responsible for training projects requested by existing and prospect clients. Also in-charge of product research based on the applicability of the emergency kits based on functions and design.

Part of my advocacy is to help communities, companies and organization increase their capacity in coping with calamity and disaster risk by giving practical and comprehensive training about emergency resilience.

I am responsible for the overall operations of the company. Since this is a start-up business, I also do other essential functions like procurement and HR. On the first year of operations, I started implementing crucial processes specifically on production and sales.

I was part of the pioneer team who handled the customer and merchant services department. I was highly involved in the decision making process as part of the core team in setting up implementing standards for the company. Developed and implemented policies and procedures for the team. I Initiated training program which aimed to support our partner merchants by giving intensive training to their front liners during the implementation of the partnership.

Started with the company as a Training and Business Development Officer. I was part of the pioneering team highly involved in major decision making. Was part of the core team in doing marketing for the company’s “pet project”, “SMILDS”, an e-Commerce solution for small and medium businesses. Was part of the pioneering team in launching www.buyanihan.com, the first group buying site in the Philippines. Specialized in customer acquisition and back-end processes. Also helped in merchant acquisition and event management.Played a major role in the creation of BUYanihan’s partner sites, Megadeals.Ph (in partnership with Globe) and Dealmania.Ph (in partnership with BPI). Part of the negotiation team for the “Microsites” creation namely, Sitel, Transcom, Sykes and Ayala Coop.I initiated the building the company’s “in-house” call center facility which housed 10 agents and 3 different pilot numbers (one per site). Later became the Customer Service Department Head.SELECTED HIGHLIGHTS:- Created and implemented standard operating procedures for support departments (Payments and Customer service)- Brought in several merchants for deal partnerships for BUYanihan during the start-up stage.- Hired, retained and developed internal team members that later became the core team of the company.- Represented the company in several Radio and TV (DZMM Teleradyo and GNN Cable Channel) promotions.- Created strong ties with DTI. Instrumental in the agencies’ initiative in calling for a forum of all group buying site in the Philippines for policy creation.- Invited as a resource speaker in several e-commerce seminars.
