I currently manage a team of support engineers who tackle reported issues on upcoming products that are soon to be released. We deduce the data into actionable bugs, and advocate for fixes prior to the product's release via bug scrubs and core meetings.

UPDATE: I spend most days signing and publishing builds; in my spare time I lend a helping hand for new feature verification and regression testing.My responsibilities at TiVo include installing, testing, and verifying the daily software builds. During my time here I have become familiar with Jira, Service Portal, Bug Base/Testopia, TestTrak, networking hardware, as well as TiVo Desktop software. I work alongside with developers in ways to debug software efficiently and effectively to create the best product possible. I've also assisted the Beta team by monitoring and validating new bugs that are discovered in weekend HW beta groups. I understand CableCARD services as well as Switched Digital Video. I have worked with everything from TiVo Series 2+, to TiVo's wireless adapters, to TiVo's PC software during my time here.

The main objective as a City Year member is to promote the concept of idealism, as well as to create a healthy environment for children where they can learn and grow. I worked in the same elementary school with the same students all year long, helping them with their studies as well as producing lesson plans that were carried out by myself in front of full classrooms.When any free time during the school year is available, the organization volunteers help clean up the public parks and streets with; accompanied by the towns people. These duties include painting murals in schools, making flower beds for low-income areas, as well as raising money for charities.
