Spearheaded dual-track collection of many multifamily loans. My speed and aggressiveness have resulted in 30% of my loans reinstating and the remaining loans having minimal losses. Resolved loans totaling over $5 billion. This includes collecting $6 million in income on a portfolio of loans, which was especially good considering I was the third asset manager on this transaction, and the majority of the loans were charged off over eight years prior.

Investigated loan pools of failed banks that were being sold by the FDIC to determine the current value of distressed real estate collateral and ongoing viability of the loans. My due diligence has helped Beal Bank aggressively compete against ten to twelve competitors and win at a significantly profitable level.

Drove the activities of the deal team, streamlining the existing process, and underwriting approximately $200 million in CMBS deals. The deal types included office, retail, multifamily, hotel, and self-storage.Originated $35 million in Conduit deals by networking with new and existing clients. These included office, retail, multifamily properties.Negotiated with Mezzanine lenders regarding quoted terms on pieces totaling over $5 million to get more attractive terms, resulting in our getting the combined deals and solidifying our relationship with the borrowers.Resolved deal issues; minimized time, resources and financial impacts by directing the work of contract underwriters, by increasing their knowledge of available loan products.Interpreted applications, commitments, policies and procedures for borrowers, eliminating misunderstandings and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Production and underwriting of Fannie and Freddie Multifamily loans. Main focus was large portfolios, Fannie DMBS, immediate and forward underwriting.

Analyzed small commercial loan requests up to $10,000,000. This included my review of borrower financials statements, and using of Turbo Fast to construct historical and projected cashflows to determine debt service coverages.
