Taking on a new role at Alight, leading all initiatives related to Alight's secure edge. Owning the network security responsibilities in partnership IT staff to ensure Alight's network stays secure from internal and external threats.

Led a fantastic international team of security professionals keeping Alight's proprietary and customer's information safe. We owned general security architecture and engineering, as well as cloud security, network security, and endpoint security.

Led our global Network/Network Security Architecture and Engineering team thru major transformation, including major datacenter migration and closure efforts, and then cloud transformation initiatives. successfully completed a major data center closure and migration into a new colo DR facility. After that herculean effort we embarked on a total cloud migration of federal and commercial implementations into a mix of both AWS and Azure.

Contract role with the Border Network Services architecture team at Abbott, leading several firewall and cloud architecture projects internationally. Primarily focused on Cloud (AWS and Azure), Cisco CSRs, Zscaler AWG, Checkpoint firewalls, and Citrix Netscaler.

Contract role, leading telecom group for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), supporting Cisco Call Manager for US based operations. Completed several multi million dollar projects, while increasing team visibility and accountability.

Initially brought in as Senior Network Engineer, leading the technical day to day for a large corporate environment, then quickly being promoted to Manager of the Corporate Network and Telephony teams, leading the team responsible for network and telephony at over 200 global location, to then taking on the newly created Lead Enterprise Network Architect role, responsible for architecture and interoperability of Stericycle's Global Network.Environment spanned over 15 countries worldwide, with complex integrations due to Stericycle's acquisition heavy strategy, often integrating multiple companies per month, spanning just about every network and telephony platform out there.

Network Engineer with a leading Webcasting Company based out of New York, managing all aspects of the Chicago DR hosting facility. I managed everything from choosing the colocation provider, negotiating the contracts, building out the servers, configuring and hardening them, racking the servers, and all aspects the network. Collaborated with third party vendors as well as internal teams to make the DR environment fully functional.

Started at Fry as a Network Operations, Center Technician, but quickly moved up to Systems Admin and then Network Engineer. While at Fry I was exposed to a great many different technologies and had to quickly learn them in order to succeed. I was able to learn and progress all while helping grow Fry from a small niche e-commerce shop to one of the premiere e-commerce hosting companies at the time. As a large e-commerce shop, we were some of the first ones to comply with the new PCI standards. I played an integral role in achieving that compliance thru developing internal policy and helping our customers build their policies.
